Bulgarian legislation provides for the following tax benefits for the benefit of natural and legal persons who make a donation to an NGO such as the Public Benefit Association:

For donor companies For fiscal purposes, accounting costs for donations totaling up to 10 percent of the positive accounting financial result (accounting profit) are recognized when the cost of donations is made to NGOs

For citizens donors The annual taxable income of the person is reduced by donations made during the year up to 5 per cent when the donation is in favor of NGOs
