Youth European Society wins a project “Mission: Youth Employment” under Erasmus+ programme.

The project “Mission: Youth employment” aims to help young people and particularly those of them who are at risk of being excluded from the labor market and those facing barriers at starting first job, finding new one, to get information and acquire knowledge, skills and competences through the methods of non-formal education, needed for smooth and successful transition to the labor market. Main activites will be held in Bansko, Bulgaria.

Four volunteers from YES took part in training course under project Videmocracy

Fom 3rd of April till 11th of April, four young people, who presented YES, were part of a “Videmocracy” training course in Durres, Albania. Other participating countries included representatives from Albania (host), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey. The main objective of the course was to introduce young people to the types of democracy, the methods by which democracy can be depicted – through simulations, videos, paintings, games, etc. The methods that have been used have given and will enable young people in the future to develop their capacity and critical thinking in the society in which they live.

During each training day, the youngsters were able to share their ideas that were related to the project theme, as well as many of them related to their future development as regards the better development of democracy in each country. Last but not least – the bulgarian youths managed to create many multinational friendships and enriched their multicultural knowledge.

YES took part in kick-off meeting under project Entrepreneurial mindset through social innovation in youth work – EMSI-YW

“Youth European Society” participated in a kick-off meeting under project Entrepreneurial Mindset through Social Innovation in Youth Work – EMSI-YW, co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme. The project aims to increase the capacity of the consortium in Europe on entrepreneurship and innovation, the transfer of know-how and to address key issues of interest to young people today. To increase the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities by providing them with skills and competences in the field of social innovation and entrepreneurship and education.

During the coordination meeting, the schedule of the project activities, the role of each partner, as well as the partnership agreements were also discussed.

order to participate in the European Solidarity Corps volunteering, traineeships and job activities, organisations are required to obtain a Quality Label.

This is required to ensure compliance of the participating organisations with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps, as regards their responsibilities during all stages of solidarity activities. All organisations holding a Quality Label gain access to the European Solidarity Corps database.

YES took part in kick-off meeting under project “Videmocracy” in Durres, Albania

On February 1-4 2019, our project manager Aleksandar Petkov took part  the kick-off meeting in Durrës for Videmocracy project, which is a project co-funded by European Comission under Erasmus+ Programme.

Five volunteers, leaded by our project manager, took part in Youth Exchange in Stip, Macedonia (FYROM) on 12 – 21 August 2018. The YE was third activity under project „Be the change – empowered citizens, empowered communities“, co-financed by Erasmus+ Programme of European Commision.

Street art in the Balkans – Come to Amfi Vol.7

Our friends from KOM 018 will implement the project “Street art in the Balkans” and in this way our hip hop culture festival “Dodji na Amfi” (Come to Amfi) gets a regional dimension and opportunity to bring together young people and young artists from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia at the festival to show their creative potentials and work together.
